Kid’s Night Out
Thursdays, June 21 – August 30
This fun, activity-filled evening is for 4-12 year olds. This program is loaded with indoor and outdoor activities, crafts, includes dinner, s’mores by the fire, and a movie! Kids’ Night Out is a worry-free night out for Mom & Dad, and a convenient alternative to at-home babysitting – held in the Private Lesson Center on Thursday evenings from 5:30pm-8:30pm.
Kids’ Night Out is a FREE childcare service offered to parents on the condition that $30 per child is spent in any commercial outlet at the resort during the hours that your children are in the program. We do require original receipts to verify the expenditure. If less than $30 per child is spent, parents will be charged the difference. Please reserve your child’s space by 3pm on Thursday. Call Winter Park Guest Services at 800.729.7907 to reserve your child’s space. Enrollment is limited and is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

To get to Winter Park Resort from all points around the Denver area, find your way to I-70 heading West out of Denver. Follow I-70 West approximately 40 miles to Exit 232 to Winter Park, Empire and Granby. Follow Exit 232 onto Hwy 40 which will take you over Berthoud Pass (great photo ops) and to Winter Park. Mileage from Exit 232 to Winter Park is approximately 24 miles. Total mileage from Denver is 67 miles.
Hours of Operation
Winter
Lifts open at 9am weekdays and 8:30am weekends and holidays. Most Lifts close at 4pm; however, both the Panoramic Express and the Pioneer Express close at 3pm. Trails may open or close during the day. Check out the status on-mountain if you are unsure.
Summer
Winter Park Resort’s summer hours of operation are 10am through 5:30pm, 7 days a week, from June 14 through September 1, 2008 (Labor Day). Ticket windows open at 9:30am. The Zephyr Express Chairlift closes at 5pm, while other activities close at 5:30pm.
