Power of Four Mountain Bike Race
An endurance mountain bike race climbing, traversing and descending the four mountains of Aspen/Snowmass. Tackle this race solo or create relay teams of two or four and experience the Power of Four!
The field consists of solo racers and relay teams (of two or four) from the avid bike community that exists in Aspen/Snowmass, Colorado and beyond. Racers will start at the base of Snowmass and end at the Sundeck atop Aspen Mountain (with a brief detour in between). Click here for a full course map. With 11,000′ vertical gain, 9,000′ vertical drop over 33 miles on top rated single track, demanding double track ascents and coverage over four mountains this race will challenge even the fittest riders. Aspen Mountain is a mountain in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado in the United States. One of the foothills of the Elk Mountains, it is located just south of the town of Aspen, which is situated at the foot of the mountain at the southeast end of the valley of the Roaring Fork River in Pitkin County. The mountain is noted as the location of the Aspen Mountain ski area, one of four adjacent ski areas operated collectively as Aspen/Snowmass.
